The Memories of Hospital Newborn Photos

  

One of the most memorable moments in parents life is the birth of their child. It’s a special moment that a mother and father want to share with everyone under the sun. Hospital newborn photos are a great way to introduce your bundle of joy to the world. Knowing that these are the very first hours of your baby’s life, just make these pictures extra special. It’s good to be prepared and have an idea of outfits and themes for your little one in these photos you plan to show off to the world. 

Here are some things we did in our pictures:

We wanted to have to have different outfits so that we had a variety of photos and themes. Eventually your going to create a photo album, digital album on your phone, maybe share on social your networks, birth announcements and cards, etc. I know we did all of the above! we didn’t want every picture to look the same so we changed up a few things after every few pictures. Besides…having a few different photos and looks allowed for more pictures of our pride and joy!

  

  

The only prop we had was our baby’s blanket. We didn’t bring anything crazy or extravagant. We wanted to make our baby the focus of the pictures. Most of our pictures involved our baby with nothing but a headband and her blanket. The hospital bed is perfect for pictures. The white fluffy sheets made for a great background to bring our little angel out in the pictures. The only other prop we used was a basket that the photographer had with her. Those made for some nice pictures too.

   

 We first chose the idea for a blanket with our first born because we had a personalized one made with her name stitched. We wanted a hospital picture that announced her name in these pictures. We then repeated the same thing with baby number two. She had a different look to her blanket, but had the same concept. It has now become somewhat of a tradition for us. We will do the same with baby number 3 as well.
